Interning with The DSM Group will help you learn about the importance of communicating the overall value of a product or service and how to build a customer base through researched and creative campaigns.

The Landscape of Marketing is Changing

At The DSM Group, you’ll master best-in-class software and learn industry secrets that aren’t even being taught in school yet, putting you way ahead of your competition once you graduate. During the internship, you’ll be responsible for:

• Blog article creation, optimization and management.
• Social media interaction, status updates and influencer engagement.
• Landing page and offer creation (videos, whitepapers, webinars, kits, checklists, etc.).
• Press release creation and distribution.
• Additional responsibilities as the team and organization scales.

Skills We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will be an excellent writer and communicator with sharp instincts about trends and tactics. We’re also looking for:

• A core understanding of technology and a passionate interest in marketing, PR and advertising. 
• An understanding of how to use data to measure achievement and track progress.
• An ability to seek out challenges and teach yourself new skills in the process. 
• A strong work ethic and an interest in building our team and company.
• A well-rounded individual that fits our agency’s culture of energy, passion, humor and confidence.

Our internships are unpaid, but credit can be earned during any semester, spring, summer or fall. When it comes to end of semester evaluations, our mentors are always accommodating and have written impressive recommendations for interns in the past. Also, we like to hire from within, so if we like what we see during your time here, you could end up landing a permanent seat in one of our new office chairs.
