As the Account Manager at DSM, you’ll manage plans, coordinate and direct advertising/marketing campaigns that will fulfill client goals and objectives. You will oversee day-to-day client relationships, identify and address changes in marketing environment as well as strategic plans. You will anticipate client needs (short/long term) and proactively address any issues that arise. As the Account Manager, you will oversee multiple accounts and monitor their performance both with their client counter parts and internally with other creative, strategic, and operational departments. Distributes projects and reviews their progress continually to ensure professional growth is attained. You will help identify KPI’s and hit contractual benchmarks. As the Account Manager, you will report directly into the Account Director.

If you…

  • Have experience
    • Running multiple clients at once and working proactively with vendors (as needed)
    • With strategic development and implementation of integrated marketing programs to ensure that all professional activities are in line with the agreed upon strategic direction
  • Are a collaborative self-starter who can connect dots and get things done
  • Provide strategic oversight as well as work hand in hand with the client on the day-to-day brand needs
  • Act as an agency conduit to ensure creative adheres to high quality standards and can communicate against strategy and objectives across all communication channels
  • Can be the strategy liaison with client on brand and business issues working in partnership with the agency teams
  • Are well organized, can multitask and produce quality work
  • Are great at your communication and presentation skills
  • Take ownership of projects from ideation through execution

Requirements

  • Excellent communicator with especially strong writing skills and experience presenting strategic and tactical plans to senior management
  • Confident and organized individual who is able to apply their experience in order to provide insights and recommendations to clients
  • Experience and successful track record in digital marketing, including but not limited to: SEO, paid and organic search, social, retargeting and prospecting, new customer acquisition, Google Adwords and analytics and email marketing
  • Ability to work in team environment fostering ideas through integration and inclusion
  • Creative thinker and solution-oriented problem solver, with a customer focus
  • Sound financial skills – has prepared budgets and statement/scope of work plans
  • S. or B.A. in Marketing/Advertising or related area ideally
  • 5-7 years agency experience
  • Experienced manager who can lead a cross functional team or inter-agency team
